The king's 80th birthday is coming. on our way to khao san rd,
we can see King's and Queen's pictures everywhere.
we passed by their palace also which is really hugeeeeee.
it was early in the morning so it is not crowded.
should have gone there at night instead.
becos it is a street full of night life.
it is like holland v in sg. many ang mohs.
dunno what plant is this hanging down
comfortable thai style bed and their skillful massage.
definitely worth the 200baht.
and then we set off to suan lam night bazzar.
on the way there, we got to see many local sights.
one type of their apartments
pretty old and look at bird cages.
this lady. so funny.
idk why she sits on a tuk tuk to use a laptop.
modern vs traditional?
we were in the taxi on the highway.
highways in bkk are super straight and long!
when we reached there, the market is not opened yet,
so we had a coffee at this DoiTung cafe.
these are the slippers we bought at JJ market.
they are handmade and very comfortable. only 199baht.
the long waited bazzar was disappointing.
all you can get there are non-authentic goods or ultra expensive stuff.
the clothes they sell there are 3-4 times the price of
exactly the same thing from other places.
and you know, they dont put price tags. so they can name any price they want.
they tell you to name a price.
and if you cut half, they still earn big money.
so you see?
no good.
bought nothing at all.
luckily there was at least a giant food court behind the bazaar so we ate our dinner there.
one row sells food,
the other row sells alcohol.
they have all kind of alcohol.
she-males and pretty thai ladies will approach your table once you sit down,
asking if you want any drinks.
they have tables with utensils and a rice cooker with boiling water.
haha. sterilize utensils by dipping them into the water.
